Cormac Campbell

Graduating from Film & TV Production, Cormac Campbell is a Cinematography major with a Documentary minor. Cormac has spent his final year of college developing his skills behind the camera. Learning the art of visually conveying a story through the eyes of a lens. Cormac shot a number of films this year, but his main project was his work as Cinematographer on the film “Cease”, Directed by Aisling Sargent. The film is an emotional and deeply personal portrayal of friendship. – ” Aisling, myself and the whole cast and crew worked incredibly hard to finish this piece and I couldn’t be prouder of the finished story and unique visual style.” Growing up as a professional dancer, Cormac’s work is strongly influenced by his sense of movement and flow, this has can be seen in all his films this year, especially in “Cease”, which is almost entirely handheld. Cormac is currently in the process of Directing a Documentary, based around the lives of two renowned Irish rock climbers, Calvin Torrans and Clare Sheridan. A married couple currently in their mid 70’s who still manage to push climbing to its limits. The film has been put on hold during the lockdown but will hopefully be completed by the end of the summer.
