The Cartlann archive is open to everyone to browse and enjoy. Whether you’re a student, researcher, educator, or member of the public, you can explore and be inspired by the projects and research hosted on the platform.
You can start browsing through the Browse the Archive section. Use filters such as Discipline, Medium, Social Theme, Start Year, or Keyword to narrow your results.
Yes! Use the Advanced Search feature to find projects by Project Lead, Author, or Title. This tool is perfect for locating specific works or exploring contributions by particular individuals.
Staff and students of IADT can upload projects to Cartlann, provided they have the appropriate permissions for all content they wish to share.
You can upload your work directly via the archive platform. Ensure you follow any submission guidelines and secure the necessary permissions for images, videos, or other content. Your project supervisor will provide you with the necessary information for submitting work.
You must have the rights to share all materials in your project, including media such as photographs, videos, or third-party content.
Additionally, ensure you have explicit permission from any external stakeholders, individuals, or companies involved in the project if required. Your project supervisor will provide you with a permissions contact that must be signed by external stakeholders.
If you’re unsure about permissions, consult your project lead or supervisor before uploading.
Cartlann supports common file types, including images (JPEG, PNG), videos (MP4), documents (PDF), and others.
