Emma yuan is a photographer based in Dublin Ireland, currently in her final year BA (hons) studying in Institute of Art Design and Technology. Emma’s photographic work explores the haunting beauty of night shoots in Enfield, a small town in Ireland that exudes an eerie and desolate atmosphere. Specifically, Emma is fascinated by the emptiness of the town, particularly along the long black road that runs through its heart.

Specifically focusing on the long black road that winds its way through the town and the accompanying emptiness that pervades its atmosphere. The images capture the mesmerizing beauty found within Enfield’s nocturnal realm. Thesis Title: The Emotions in the Role of Photography of the Past, and Photography Now

The thesis aims to delve into the comparison between photography in the past and the present, focusing on how emotions play a connecting role between them. It will discuss whether emotions were present in past photographs and how they manifest in contemporary photography. Despite its relatively short existence, the history of photography has undergone significant developments over time.
