BA [Hons] Animation

Here is a selection of shots and development work from our animated short 'Small Hours', a graduation film I co-directed with Christian Spurling, who designed the layouts and backgrounds while I was the lead animator and character designer. The film focuses on two people getting increasingly lost in a train of thought, transitioning from one memory to another. I’ll also be featuring my 2D character and effects animation showreels as well as the teaser for our film.

Small Hours - Animated Short Film

Designed and animated entirely in Adobe Photoshop, our experimental mosaic-screen film follows sequences of seemingly unrelated trains of thought from two people simultaneously. Transitioning from one memory to another, we delve deeper into their tranced states of mind.
