This survey investigates if music prior to a scene can be used to enhance an actor's
performance. Music has the power to alter and connect deeply with our emotions but is it
possible to manipulate one's emotions with music to cause them to feel or think a certain way
for a film shoot? Also, if a piece demands an actor to display a certain emotion does music that
expresses that same emotion have better effects on enhancing that particular emotion in an
actor?
