KNACK is a community craft initiative that delivers free, drop-in workshops focused on traditional skills like embroidery, weaving, and woodworking.
The workshops take place in local libraries and are led by experienced makers, aiming to make craft accessible, social, and relevant to a younger audience. The project encourages hands-on learning, supports the preservation of traditional craft, and uses public space to bring people together. Through a relaxed, informal approach, KNACK creates opportunities for creativity, connection, and cultural continuity.

The KNACK project aims to make traditional craft accessible by offering free, drop-in workshops that require no prior experience. These sessions are designed to be welcoming and easy to join, removing common barriers like cost, intimidation, or exclusivity. By hosting events in local libraries, KNACK uses familiar, public spaces to bring creativity directly into communities.
A key objective is to preserve and pass on traditional craft skills by connecting experienced makers with new audiences. These workshops allow cultural knowledge to be shared in a hands-on, informal way that supports learning through doing. At the same time, the project encourages social connection, creating a space where people can meet others with similar interests and take part in a shared creative experience.
The objectives of the KNACK project were achieved through a promotional campaign designed for both screen and print media. The outcomes are presented through a distinct visual identity that is bright, eye-catching, and tailored to engage the target audience of young adults. A full set of branded assets was developed, including promotional motion videos, a series of posters, merchandise items, and a social media strategy. A supporting website was also created to host event information and extend the project’s reach. Together, these elements form a cohesive campaign that communicates the project’s values and encourages participation in the workshops.

Hey there! I’m Gabriele, a designer from Lithuania with a love for brand identity, creative problem solving, and motion. For me, design isn’t just about the aesthetics, it’s about using visuals and storytelling to solve real problems and connect with people. I’m especially drawn to projects that involve complex or abstract ideas, and I enjoy figuring out how to bring them to life through image and language. I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and pushing myself creatively as I move forward in my design journey.
