The KAOS of Mythology

This project was a video essay exploring how Netflix’s KAOS reinterprets Greek mythology, with a focus on the Hero’s Journey. I examined how the show fragments traditional mythic structures across multiple characters and used visual and narrative subversion to challenge classical ideals. Through research on myth theory and media studies, I reflected on how KAOS reshapes becomes a hero, and why mythology still matters in contemporary storytelling.
