A live music show featuring one-on-one interviews with artists. This collaborative program brought two artists together in a studio to blend their unique sounds and perform live. As head of cameras, I attended all rehearsals with the director, recorded behind-the-scenes footage, and coordinated a team of camera operators and assistants, briefing them thoroughly to ensure we captured the dynamic and intimate shots we for the show.
This thesis examined the interaction between marginalised identities in cinema, specifically how the Gothic and camp sensibility evoke a sense of trans embodiment among both trans viewers and filmmakers. It studies these ideas through the films I Saw the TV Glow and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I was intrigued with the idea of gender queer and cis filmmakers when focusing on queer bodies, using the Gothic to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed, and how, despite being very real, these themes become entertainment when coated in a camp sensibility.
