Lola Partida Barrios
When her daughter Chloe emigrates to Australia, Aislin quietly begins to unravel. Having spent her adult life as a mother - after having Chloe young - she now faces a quiet, aching void. As her days lose structure and meaning, Aislin must find the strength to step beyond routine, and slowly rediscover who she is without someone to care for.

As the director of photography, Lola brings an observational, naturalistic approach to Chirper. Using high-contrast lighting, along with texture, flares, and carefully stylised shots, she creates a powerful melancholic feeling for the most intimate moments.
Lola is a Spanish cinematographer drawn to the quiet, often overlooked moments, the stories that unfold "in between." She believes the role of director of photography is to build an emotional bridge between the audience and the characters through visuals.
Highly attentive to detail, she is committed to crafting distinct colour palettes for each project. Collaborating closely with the art department, Lola uses texture, props, costume, and makeup to enhance the visual storytelling - treating each element as a surface for light to interact with.
As a cinematography major, she has developed a strong ability to adapt her style, moving fluidly between composed, stylised imagery and more naturalistic, documentary-inspired approaches.
