This thesis explores the question "to what extent can audio assets be applied across different gaming mediums". In order to answer this, a short adventure was written and applied to two gaming mediums, those being a 2D pixel art game, which was created in Unity, and the other a tabletop role playing game. Audio assets were created for the five primary scenes of this adventure and integrated into both games.
Two groups of players took part in these gaming experiences, one group per game. Following playing the games, the 2D game players answered a survey where as the tabletop players took part in a focus group style interview. The collected data was analyzed and discussed in the thesis itself.
