There is a Funny Smell coming from '99

For my major project I created a short film which was a mixture of a studio build and on location shots, following the prompt 'There is a Funny Smell coming from '99.' Within this I was able to create a storyline of a person who had passed away and been forgotten in time only to be rediscovered today using set dec skills and scenic painting to create texture and depth within this time capsule apartment build.

Niamh Wade is a production designer based in county Dublin, Ireland. A recent graduate from the first cohort of Design For Film, gaining strong skills within concept art, set design and construction with a real passion for set decoration and scenic painting. During the four years gaining invaluable experince through collaborations with the NFS working on many different short films, kodak commericals and documentaries. This past year working as HOD for production design on the NFS graduate film SÁRÚ further developing collaborative world building skills.
