The flats project is a graphite-based exploration of the human mind’s inclination towards Pareidolia the tendency to perceive familiar patterns, especially faces in random objects and Industrialism.
Centred on the interplay between architectural and humanoid forms.
The flats creates a dystopia that delves into the human condition through urban life blurring the line between organic and industrial.
In an economy where the Irish cost of living continues to grow and young adults face the grapple with the increasing impossibility of home ownership the flats aims to reflect this generational struggle, where buildings loom like sentient beings and industrial landscapes pulse with an uneasy life of their own.

I'm Eyo, a Nigerian-Irish visual artist based in Kildare. Currently studying art at IADT. My artistic journey encompasses a wide array of mediums, ranging from traditional to digital practices. However, my true passion lies in creating surreal portraits and figurative works, approaching each piece with a deep sense of purpose and world building. For me art is a way to express the complexities of the world we live in, drawing from our individual experiences and imagination.
