CircleGirl

**CircleGirl** is a short, animated movie about loneliness. The film deals with themes of isolation, the dilemma of being different to one's peers and the resulting difficulty of connection, as well as the neurodivergent experience in growing up, and what it means to try to change oneself in order to fit in. All of this is explored in a digestible manner with minimal audio and simple visuals.

Zachariasz “Zacc” Kazimierski is a cartoonist and animator based in Dublin, hailing from a small town in Poland. Kazimierski’s work often concerns heavy and relatable subject matter, such as feelings of isolation and the fear of death, made approachable with light storytelling, colourful visuals and dry humour. His practice invites the viewer to consider the beauty of everyday moments and togetherness with others, despite how bleak reality can get. Kazimierski has exhibited in IADT student shows **The Place Project**, IMMA Studios (2023) and **Down the road, around the corner**, Pallas Projects/Studios (2026).
