Cork born cinematographer Davy Hudson Tyrrell believes very strongly that the most important skill for a director of photography to have is adaptability. He is always interested in trying new styles and working with new people. He prefers to avoid any continuous personal style and instead likes to figure out what would work best for each project. For his grad film, Florence, he worked closely with Director Tess Doolan Burke to develop a visual approach that best illustrated and represented the characters' emotional journeys and the strange world that Tess had envisioned.
