Following four years exploring and innovating in their creative expression alongside developing and sharpening their critical skills, graduates of the BA (Hons) in New Media Studies emerge with technical craft skills across the range of camera, editing, sound and lighting combined with a strong critical and theoretical competence in Film, Media and Cultural Studies, enabling graduates of this programme to deeply understand the wider society context for their discipline. They are proficient in a wide range of digital skills and are versatile and agile across the new media landscape, critically engaged and creatively active.

Graduates New Media Studies are working in a range of media organizations, as editors, content creators, researchers, writers and in radio/television broadcasting. These graduates are also self-starters with some of the students carving out their own career paths in finding ways to stream their own work.

The New Media Studies class of 2024 are persistent risk-takers and highly resourceful and will make a positive mark on the world as they embark on the next stage of their lives.
