I am a modelmaker and illustrator based in Galway. I've previously studied at BCFE and graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Illustration. After graduating from BCFE however, I realised I missed creating 3D art and so began my studies at IADT. My art mainly focuses on creature design, inspired by love of mythology and the occult. I would love to work in creature design for either the Film/TV, Videogame or Wargame/Tabletop industries. I hope to create monsters and creatures that will excite audiences and inspire their imaginations.

An examination of how monsters are reflective of the cultures and cultural moment which created them. The thesis proves this through examining the rise of yōkai (creatures from Japanese mythology) in Japanese popular culture and how their depiction in Japanese horror cinema has changed over the decades as a response to cultural change.
