Julia Wysocka 

BA [Hons] Film + Television Production

I am Julia: a Polish-born filmmaker currently based in Dublin. I am pursuing a major in Film Directing at the National Film School, IADT. My directorial portfolio includes the short film Good Grief, which has been showcased at various festivals, along with other notable projects I have worked on. With a deep - rooted passion for storytelling, I am particularly drawn to character-driven narratives that resonate with people on a personal level.

‘Skirmish’ - Graduate Film

Annie lives in a small Irish town, working in a dead-end job. Her only objective is to get her ex-girlfriend back.
When a cowboy-themed night in her local pub happens she knows her ex-girlfriend will be there… and so will she.
As the night progresses, Annie’s fortunes take a turn for the worse. In her pursuit of love, she navigates the unexpected, tries to neglect the inevitable, ultimately transforming her night into one she will never forget.
