I'm Liam, a final year creative computing student with a passion for front end development and learning new technologies. I enjoy collaborating with others on projects and pushing myself to improve as a developer.

The Pie Chart component, providing an overview of the sentiment towards a topic.
The sentiment over time component that allows for viewing sentient scores over the course of 1-4 days.
The top comments component reveals the most popular comments according to upvotes and provides a snippet of each comment.
The hourly engagement chart tracks the number of comments posted after the reddit post has been posted.
Sentiment Analysis Visualization App

This project is an application that allows users to easily perform sentiment analysis on topics, brands and trending issues via the reddit API. Users can enter search parameters to retrieve a list of relevant reddit posts which can be selected. The comments of the selected post are processed and analyzed before graphs and visualizations are displayed in the user interface. Users can use button toggles to customize which graphs and charts are displayed on the dashboard. This dashboard can be used to gain insights into trending issues and news. The application was built using a flask backend to perform data gathering and processing and a reactJS frontend to create the user interface.
