Lucille Carolan 

BA [Hons] Film + Television Production

Lucille Carolan is a documentary filmmaker, screenwriter and script supervisor from Cavan. Her documentary credits include Clear Round which was selected by KIFF and RHIFF. Her upcoming short documentary Anatomy of an Irish Disco follows three girls attending their last teen disco. Lucille's screenwriting credits include Skirmish, selected by KIFF and Waterford International Film Festival, Something Old, Something New and co-writing End Of The World Tour with Aisha Bolaji which won best student film at Dublin Comedy Festival. Lucille is passionate about themes of girlhood, queer identity and bringing stories to life through a blend of realism and genre.

Clear Round follows young showjumpers Ryan and Katelyn's return to the new competitive season in a documentary portraying the relationship a family has with the sport.
Anatomy of an Irish Disco is a short documentary, currently in post-production that follows a group of girls as they embark on their last teen disco in rural Ireland.
