Nick Willoughby is a photographer based in Wexford Ireland. He is in his final year of a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in the Institute of Art Design Technology Dublin’s Photography course. Nick's practice was in the field of portraiture but now works with bodybuilding videography. Transitioning from portrait photography to videography, Nick now sculpts narratives through dynamic motion, evoking the raw energy and dedication of athletes. Each frame captures the essence of perseverance and triumph, amplifying the power of the human spirit. This redefines the boundaries of storytelling, showcasing the relentless drive and indomitable will that define the pursuit of excellence

“NBFI: The Goal is Gold” is a captivating short documentary film delving into the dynamic world of competitive Irish bodybuilding.

It explores the dedication, sacrifices, and sheer passion driving two athletes to sculpt their bodies to perfection.

As we follow their journeys, viewers will witness the triumphs and setbacks, the camaraderie among them, and the unwavering determination that defines this sport.
