Hello, I'm Okhaide Itua a 4th year art student. I'm Nigerian and my culture shows in my art work. The past 4 years here have been very eye-opening and has help me improve my work. My goal as an artist is to create art where the viewer can interact and develop a deep relationship with the works.

Market time

My project is based on the theme of the markets back home. The method I used to make them is by painting with a spatula. This project is for me to take a piece of home and share it the the viewers. To make this project more memorable the art works can be touched; feel the texture and have a deeper connection with the art works.



A dive into the history of interactive art

My thesis focus on the history of interactive art and dives into the pioneers of the practice. Interactive art is very impotent for art history and is a very interesting medium. As my art works focus on the interactive, the thesis helped complement it and the advancement of my works.
