I have always had a passion for three-dimensional art. Working with clay from a young age and woodwork not long after, to a variety of other physical mediums - solid and tangible art has always been the way I like to work. I have now finished up four years of modelmaking and I am avidly pursuing a career in making tiny things, for tiny people in tiny spaces.
For my final year project I decided to make a shooting miniature model podracer. This style of science fiction racer originated in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. The podracer is designed and piloted by a Mon Calamari named Rilo Wavecrest. From the scrapyards of the planet Dac, Rilo built his podracer to compete against the most fearsome of racers on the Boonta Eve track, lightyears away.

My Thesis focused on a unique cultural phenomenon in the world of gaming known as Minecraft. Anti-censorship activists from Reporters without Borders paired up with a group of professional Minecraft builders to create the Uncensored Library, a digital space used as a means of circumventing censorship in different countries across the globe. My thesis explored this digital space and the implications behind its inception and creation.
