Hi! I'm Wren, a story artist with a love of adventure! Originally from sunny Sofia, Bulgaria, I'm now working hard to tell stories that have a sense of place and move people. “Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea”: An examination of Hayao Miyazaki’s filmmaking, or how love can save the world

Following Miyazaki through the development of “Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea”, I examine how he constructs narratives with thematic meaning at the center, prioritizing space, emotion, and self-expression, and learn what it means to make a film.
