Creative Music Production graduates are equipped with technical and creative skills, which ensures that they are well-positioned for emerging opportunities in the creative and cultural sectors and, more specifically, the music and sound industries.
During their studies, students have been exposed to a variety of disciplines, from traditional subjects such as recording, production and music theory to programming, musicology and entrepreneurship.
The music and sound Industries are expanding at an exciting pace, with sound and music set to be the next industry to be impacted by the rise of AI tools. This will provide challenges to the industry as a whole. However, CMP graduates will be well-equipped to adapt to meet these challenges, as a focus on transferable skills is a key feature of the programme.
The projects on show here demonstrate the range of skills developed by our graduates in their final year. These include recording, production, filmmaking and scoring, applied composition, artificial intelligence, programming, promotion, sound design, research and analysis skills.
