Hey there, I'm Tadhg. I'm an easy going, hard working individual, who loves to come up with fun and playful solutions to real world problems (when appropriate) by thinking outside the box and approaching things in an unusual way. I enjoy all aspects of design, but typography, design for change and printed material are specific areas of interest. I’m a detail oriented person with an eye for consistency, cohesiveness and tonally appropriate solutions. I’m looking forward to honing my skills on real world problems, and taking whatever opportunity I can to learn more and expand my skills as a designer.
Reform is an advocacy group focused on patient care through the lens of receiving information. As hospitals will either directly or indirectly affect almost everyone, it was important to come up with an inclusive and accessible solution to the issue. By providing a platform and raising awareness, it aims to make the processing of medical information less overwhelming.
The platform is a resource to be used within the HSE to streamline the accessing of information, provide services, and give the user an opportunity to complete the consent form in a more comfortable environment. It also more clearly explains the procedure and what it entails in simplified English, so the user further understands what they are agreeing to. To compliment this, paper consent forms have been redesigned and restructured, separating the information the patient needs to know and the information the doctor needs to know, as they are currently all in the same document.
