I am a 3D generalist specialising in modeling, rigging and animating with expertise in Blender and Unreal Engine. My final year project focused on building 3D rigs for animation as well as building 3D props and layouts for my classmates’ graduate films.
My project focused on delivering 3D work with the aim of developing and demonstrating a diverse 3D skill set. The processes explored in this project include: design, sculpting, character modeling, retopologising, rigging, animating, prop modeling, layout modeling, materials/textures, lighting, and post processing. The self directed portion of my project focused on building character rigs as this is the area of 3D animation that I am most interested in. This is what most of my project time was dedicated to, as there were relatively few opportunities for me to collaborate with directors due to the nature of my specialist role. The opportunities I did have had me building layouts and props, which helped me diversify my deliverables.
