Dara McManus

BA [Hons] Film + Television Production

Dara McManus is a Dublin-based director, editor and vision-mixer from Co. Roscommon. A graduate of the National Film School, his work spans short fiction, documentaries, experimental films, music videos, corporate videos and TV.

His directorial output focuses on atmosphere and visual experience, often incorporating surrealist and multimedia motifs to enhance storytelling. Editorially, his work is driven by emotional flow and a keen eye for rhythm.

In his final year, Dara served as the editor of the short film Sorry I Have to Kill You, vision mixer of the TV pilot In Good Company and director of the music video for Yukai's Mercy.
