Faust is a cinematographer from Bordeaux, France. She has been studying filmmaking since she was fourteen and moved to Ireland at eighteen to pursue Film at Pulse College and then the NFS. She has worked as an assistant cameraperson on a variety of projects and has shot several short films as a Director of Photography.
This thesis sets out to discuss how women were represented and portrayed in the films of the famous American Film Noir movement, with a particular focus on the classic Orson Welles production The Lady from Shanghai.
