The ambition of final year students this year is showcased in the range of projects and diverse approaches to character design. Work includes costume and set designs/recreations and have been created using both technical and digital skillsets. Students have taken inspiration from diverse sources, plays by Oscar Wilde, Eugene O Brien, tales from Eastern European Folklore, old movie scripts repurposed for modern audiences with diverse outcomes that include character illustrations, characters created using MakeUp and Prosthetics, Digital character designs and movie trailers.
Graduates benefit from close alignment with the National Film School at IADT. Graduates are employed as prosthetics and make-up designers, costume designers and production designers in the film, TV, advertising, music, theatre, opera and dance industries.
