Exploring and comparing different cross-platform frameworks in Mobile App Development. The mobile frameworks used are Flutter and React Native. An application was developed using each framework to give insight into how they differ while also exploring the similar underlying architectures. The comparison of the frameworks include performance, capabilities, and exploring how the underlying features such as state management work.
The thesis discusses the research in mobile frameworks that was carried out, the requirements gathering, and the design & development of both applications. The findings include information about the performance, capabilities, and underlying features of both frameworks.
