The login screen allows users to log in to their accounts. The user's account is connected to firebase which stores user details. This includes email, password, expense, and income.
The registration screen is where the user creates their account when they first open the application. The user enters an email and password. The user data is stored. The user is then taken to their dashboard and from there they can add income or expense.
The Expense Manager App Dashboard. When the user logs in or registers they are taken to their dashboard. They can view income and expense total. They can scroll through recent incomes and expenses that were added.
A user can add an expense from the dashboard. The user can add the amount, type of expense, and a description of the expense.
A user can add income from the dashboard. The user can add the amount, type of income, and description of the income.
Users can view income individually. This means they can keep track of what income they have added at various dates.
The user can edit or delete an individual income. If the user updates the income they must press the update button. The information will be updated and saved. If the user presses the delete button the income will be deleted from the app and database.
Users can expense individually. They can keep track of what expenses they have added at various dates.
The user can edit or delete an individual expense. If the user updates the expense they must press the update button. The information will be updated and saved. If the user presses the delete button the expense will be deleted from the app and database.

The aim of the project was to create an application that assisted users with neurodevelopmental disorders and low numeracy. The goals for the project were to design, implement, test and document a software application. This also involved performing a usability test and document a money management app.

The aim of this research was to investigate if a budgeting application could be designed and developed for adults in Ireland with neurodevelopmental disorders and lower subjective numeracy. This project designed and produced The Expense Manager app, which is an application built using Android studio tools and Firebase. Its aim is to create a visual financial aid for people with neurodevelopmental disorders and low numeracy. The application is intended to be used by people who struggle with managing their finances on a day-to-day basis.
