Olivia is a final year student of Film and Television Production, specialising in cinematography. Beginning in first year with little camera experience, she quickly developed a love for the art of cinematography. Over the course of her 4 years in IADT, she has progressed and honed her technical and creative skills and has been the Director of Photography on a wide variety of projects. Additionally, she has an affinity for script supervision and has performed the role consistently on a number of college films. She employs an acute attention to detail and strong coordination skills to perform both of these roles to the highest standard.
This dissertation takes a harsh look at the world of cinematography by giving a critical insight into the gender inequality that is rampant both behind and in front of the camera.
