Hi I'm Celt and I enjoy web and app development. I have acquired skills in JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks including React, Vue and React Native. I am very interested in sport and have incorporated this interest into my project work.

The welcome screen opens up to some imagery of the 12th hole at Augusta
When you enter into the app you are confronted with the play screen where you can choose any course to play
When you press play on a course you are brought to the hole screen. Where you can enter metrics for each hole.
The submit round screen gives you a summary of your round and lets you submit it to the database.
When you have rounds stored you can go over to the stats page and choose a stat to view.
Your overall scores and putts per hole are displayed as bar charts.
Fairways Hit and Score Distribution are displayed as pie charts.
You can view individual courses, see information about them and make them a favourite course.
You can view your previous rounds in a list seeing a summary of each.
Project Description

My project is a golf score tracking app where users can sign up, login and search through courses in Ireland. They can start a round at a course and track metrics for each hole they play. The round data can be saved and retrieved while a range of interactive graphics allow their performance over time to be visualised.


HoleScope: A Golf Score Tracking App

My thesis investigates different JavaScript frameworks and how they should be considered when building an online community website. I describe and journal the entire development process of my application including my requirements gathering, design, implementation and testing phases.
