Graduates of the MSc in User Experience (UX) Design leave IADT with the broad range of skills and competencies required of modern User Experience (UX) professionals. UX design forms the structure, functionality and experience of nearly everything we do digitally. The MSc in UX Design explores a wide range of topics including research methods, interaction design, visual design, inclusive design speculative design, psychology, information architecture, usability testing, UX and business strategy.

Our graduate's design digital products that focus on maximising the user experience through user research, iterative design and usability testing. They design from initial concepts, through user research and testing, to final artefacts. The major projects presented by the graduates in the On Show exhibition represent the culmination of the student’s studies over the two years of the MSc programme. These projects consider all aspects of the UX design process in addition to academic research, critical thinking, brainstorming and problem solving, posing and answering research questions, testing hypotheses, and finally, communicating and defending the results of their work.

Our graduates are highly sought after in Ireland and internationally because they are so well versed in the challenges and methods of UX Design. They have highly rewarding careers across many different industries.
