Conor Waldron 

BA [Hons] Film + Television Production

Conor is an artist, multi award winning filmmaker and screenwriter from Ireland. He has been involved in film since he was a child. He began his love for film in front of camera. Life changing injuries allowed him the opportunity to pursue his love for film behind the camera. Conor joined the NFS to learn more about sound and editing in the hopes to turn his weaknesses into strengths. Conor is majoring in Sound Design and minoring in Location Sound. Conor loves collaborating on projects as well as the immersive collaborative process across all departments. Conor is an accomplished location sound recordist and looks forward to increasing his skills in Post Sound

With Love From Aidan and How To Skin A Cheetah

"With Love From Aidan" is a story about the integration of an android into the family dynamic as an experiment. It is set in the real world in the not too distant future.
"How To Skin A Cheetah" revolves around a teenage girl wishing to escape her current living situation. She befriends a strange local boy with disastrous and horrific consequences.


Walter Murch: His Approaches and Innovations to Editing and Sound Design.

A study of the innovative and industry defining processes of Walter Murch and his contribution and innovation in the development and processes into both film editing and sound design for the global film industry and filmmakers. This thesis examines how he developed a new way of approaching and viewing sound in film and how he has shaped the development of sound design for the past forty plus years in some of the most iconic films in Western culture from the late 20th century into the 21st century.
