BA [Hons] 3D Design Modelmaking + Digital Art

Everyone knows me as Mati (Matty), I was born in Poland but lived on the Emerald Island just a little more than half of my life. Before I moved to Ireland I lived in the country side of North-East of Poland. My family has a very diverse mix of manual labour professions (mechanics, carpenters etc) which always intrigued me to the point I found calmnes watching them perform their craft. This is where I belive my spark for creating has begun. I started with painting and drawing which led to sculpting and some basic carpentry. I felt like art,craft and design wasn't quite enough for me thus I aspired to find something that combines both practical and design in one-Modelmaking

This Helmet is a totally original design, inspired by American Wild West. I designed and fabricated a piece of armor of a bounty hunter from the future, with strong Texas (USA) roots.
The Shield/Mask was designed to mimic the wild west bandit bandana.
The Prop carries other hints of wild west in form of a Bull emblem modelled after a 1900s cowboy belt buckle, as well as traditional etching which was prominently found on their revolvers.
