Graduates of the BA (Hons) Animation leave the National Film School at IADT with advanced skills that are critical to the development of their work and careers in the screen industries. They are flexible and agile, able to blend practical skills, creativity, technology, narrative, critical thinking and soft skills as required.

Graduates have the technical, creative and production skills required of modern animators. They have hands-on practical experience of industry style digital studio environments. They also have critical and theoretical understanding of the modern animation landscape. Professional pathways leading from the BA exist in the animation, film, web, and screen industries as well as in the broader media and cultural sectors.

The class of 2023 have the technical, creative and production skills required of modern animators, with leadership qualities that will benefit them in contemporary and future media landscapes.
