Micah Encarnacion

I am an aspiring music producer and sound engineer who has been passionate about music from a young age. Prior to studying Creative Music Production in IADT, I previously completed a Level 5 in Sound Engineering/Production in DFEi. Through completing these courses my love for music has grown and I have gained valuable skills and a deeper understanding of the creative aspects of music production. I throughly enjoy making music and exploring different styles and genres, I also enjoy collaborating with others and hope to continue to do so in the future.

Behind the Scenes: The Making of an EP - A Video Documentary

Through a video documentary, this project intends to demonstrate the creative and technical steps involved in creating an EP. It aims to respond to the frequently posed topic, "How is an album or EP made?" The goal of this project is to display everything, including the highs and lows of the process from pre-production to the finished music. This project incorporates a variety of musicians and artists, as well as a videographer to help capture the process. The purpose of this project is to provide information about the process of making music, including how producers, sound engineers, musicians, and artists collaborate to create a collection of songs.
The documentary successfully demonstrates the creative and technical procedures required, but also captures a variety of emotions during the journey. The project’s completion went beyond simply demonstrating the creation of an EP. It now depicts a journey of artistic development, self-discovery and collaboration.
