Patrick Barnes is an Irish photographer based in Dublin. For as long as he can remember he has been a visual person, learning and communicating with the world form a visual perspective. For him, photography allows him to express himself and feel that after a very long journey have at long last found his voice.
This body of work explores the relationship between self-identity and how others see us. It examines how we feel about ourselves on the inside as compared to the mask we present to the world.
