Sammael (the Character) is a prop for a movie. The story behind the movie is of sinful love between an angel and a demon which are in separate realms. Their love created an offspring which is absolutely forbidden. Once the Gods found out, they banished the couple and tried to get rid of the child without other angels and demons finding out which could lead to chaos. Sammael gets taken to the in-between where he is sedated and put into hibernation with an injection. In the hope of no one finding out, Sammael is put into a bag with a coin and thrown into the river Styx.

Sammael is translated to the Venom of God. I always had an interest in angels and demons so this was a perfect opportunity to play around with my creativity. Sammael has elements of a sphynx cat and a newborn baby. The skin textures are very similar so it worked best. The reason why he is half a cat is because demons are typically depicted as animals. This project thought me a lot of different techniques which I will use in the future with further projects!
