Filip Slanina 

BA [Hons] Film + Television Production

Filip Slanina is a 24 year old cinematographer from Czech Republic, based in Dublin. He started his film studies in Czech Republic, before moving to Ireland and getting a bachelors degree in IADT Dun Laoghaire, where he shot one of the graduation films “We’re Blood". During his studies, Filip worked on various film sets, mainly as part of the lighting and camera department. He also shot multiple promo, product and music videos, one of which “Nightmares” won the YMVC competition in Youghal.

We're Blood is a 2023 graduation film directed by Andy Sherlow. | Synopsis: Growing up in a tough, underprivileged environment, family can be all you have. When his older brother JJ is accused of sexual assault, Tommy must choose between his morality and the most important person in his life.
