I'm a motivated and passionate DJ, music producer, and hobbyist digital artist, aspiring to be a front-end software developer. I have a strong understanding of computers and web technologies, and love creating things, be it visual, auditory, or an interactive combination of the two. I hope some day I'll be able to combine these things I love and also earn a living from them.

In this screencast, I take you through the basics of MS24 before making some gnarly electronic sounds, showing off its sound design capabilities and the premade configurations available to try.

The main synthesizer interface. Featuring two FM oscillators, one AM oscillator specialized for bass, a multi-mode filter, a low-frequency oscillator for modulating parameters, and nine effects to choose from such as distortion, Chebyshev wave-shaping, and reverb, there are no shortage of options for creating your own unique sounds.

The presets page features 16 premade configurations for you to try out, while also allowing you to save your own configurations either directly to the synthesizer or to your computer, so that you can use them later or share them with friends!

If the default dark theme isn't your thing, there's a light theme available from the settings menu!

You can record any of the tasty sounds you make in glorious lossless quality!

A web-based subtractive FM/AM synthesizer.

The aim of this project was to construct a web-based subtractive FM synthesizer utilizing the Web Audio API to provide an experience as close as possible to a traditional desktop-based software synthesizer. The rationale for this was to determine the feasibility of the web browser as a platform for music production and audio synthesis, as the internet becomes more and more of a platform for software which was traditionally built for desktop platforms. The purpose of MangoSynth24 is to enable the creation of unique and interesting sounds without any of the prerequisites typically needed to do so.
